Ira Chairs a Chapter that includes the Portland Housing Bureau as well as members working in the Office Support Specialist series of classifications in bureaus all across the city.  He's also one of two Local 189 members on Oregon AFSCME Council 75's Executive Board, where he is currently serving a second term as Diversity and Inclusion Officer for Oregon AFSCME Council 75.  Ira is the first (ever) duly-elected to serve in that role.
