On January 1, 2023, contributions to Paid Leave Oregon began. You may have noticed an additional deduction on your most recent paycheck — this is a statewide program that all employees in Oregon (with some minor exceptions) are required to contribute to.But what exactly is Paid Leave Oregon? What does it mean for you and your family?To answer these and any other questions you may have, we invite you to a series of informational sessions with representatives of the Oregon Employment Department, facilitated by AFSCME 189 for our membership.
